Myself and a few friends are coming over from Scotland to watch the game vs Leverkusen on Saturday. Is there anywhere you would recommend before the game where we get some beers/food and have a chat with the FSV fans?

You might already have realized, that "Im Schatten des Doms" ist a running gag among a group of Mainzfans. Jürgen Klopp's (a former trainer) mother loves this ugly song, what is the prototype for German Kitsch: depressing boring music and idiotic rhymes. Unfortunatelly Klopp didn't take all CDs with that song on them to Dortmund.

For no reason this song is very often played in the stadion. If this will happen tomorrow, you will get to know me: I'm the tall one, grumbling all the time during this acoustical pollution of the environment.
